Once a year we typically invite high school/college age kids from our other Apostolic Christian churches across the country to spend a weekend with our youth. The goal is to build friendships, enjoy the unique Prescott outdoors, and worship God together.
Once a quarter, families take turns hosting game night at their home for the Sunday school children. Each family plans activities that will engage our youth, with the desire to build deep and lasting friendships.
Each Fall an all-church Bible study is chosen. These typically take place on a weeknight evening. This is a more informal setting with group discussion encouraged. In the Spring, a separate women/men's study takes place with opportunities to address more gender specific topics.
The Prescott congregation enjoys gathering together on a regular basis to serve our community. Activities vary, but have included helping the Navajo Indians, serving the local crisis pregnancy center, or creative random acts of kindness.
Due to the small size of our church, we are often privileged to have a traveling VBS team come and invest a week of their time and talent into our youth. The team consists of volunteers from our other churches across the country.
